SPC floor production line Introduction

SPC (stone plastic composite) flooring, also named Rigid vinyl plank, is a new type of environmental protection floor developed based on high technology. Its raw materials are natural stone powder and PVC resin powder as well as additives.

After extruding the floor base board, wear-resistant layer and color film are laminated to the base board via the 4-roller calendar through heating, no glue is used in the whole process.

1)Waterproof and Dampproof
As the main component of SPC is stone power, unlike hardwood, it can be installed in areas of the home such as laundry rooms, bathrooms, basements, and kitchens. The waterproof feature also makes this board more stable in environments where moisture and temperature can fluctuate.

2)Fire Retardant
According to the authorities, 95% of the victims were burned in the fire caused by the toxic fumes and gases. The fire rating of SPC flooring is NFPA CLASS B. Flame retardant, not spontaneous combustion, leave the flame automatic out in 5 seconds, won’t produce toxic of harmful gases.

3)No Formaldehyde
SPC is high quality stone power & PVC resin, without harmful material such as benzene, formaldehyde, heavy metal.

4)No Heavy Metal, No Lead Salt
The Stabilizer of SPC is Calcium zinc, no lead salt heavy metal.

5) Dimensionally Stable
Exposed to 80° heat, 6 hours—Shrinkage ≤ 0.1%; Curling ≤ 0.2mm

6) High Abrasion
SPC flooring has a transparent wear-resisting layer, whose revolution is up and higher than 10000 turns.

7) Superfine Anti-slipping
SPC flooring has special skid resistance and wear-resisting layer of the floor. Compared with common floor, SPC flooring has higher friction when it’s wet.

8) Low requirement of subfloor
Compared to traditional LVT, SPC flooring has a distinct advantage because it is rigid core, which can hide many imperfections of subfloor.

9)Easy installation and maintenance as well as low cost.

Characteristics of SPC floor extrusion line

1. The screw adopts the design of special mixing material function and high plasticization capacity. This guarantee the uniformity of plastic melting, coloring and the high output.2. T-type die head adopts double throttling design, which make the more precision of adjusting the thickness of sheet.
3. The ±1℃ precision degree of temperature control can control the plasticization process, thickness and surface smooth of sheet accurately.
4. The arrange of roller can be vertical , horizontal or free adjusting type, which can give more selection based on different thickness of sheet.
5. The screw adjusting and oil pressure press-roller double direction adjusting can control the thickness of sheet accurately.
6. The double loop cooling system and mould temperature controller are adopted to control press-roller temperature, by which sheet thickness can be controlled accurately.
7. The cutting machine can cut the sheet to get the accurate length.
8. The winder adopts high torque motor, which cooperating with four shaft automatic strain control can adjust the winding speed and winding strain to obtain the smooth winding. The slitting device can cut the sheet free width.
9. The automatic measuring meter instrument can set the length of sheet.

Each plank of SPC rigid vinyl flooring is constructed with the following layers:
·Wear layer:  This transparent layer is at the top. It provides resistance to scratches and stains and is easy to keep clean.
·Vinyl layer: This layer provides the decoration for the plank. Colors and patterns are printed onto the vinyl.
·SPC layer: This is the dense, waterproof core for the plank made of natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilizers. It provides rigidity and stability for the plank.
·Base layer: This layer is generally made from cork or EVA (ethylene and vinyl acetate) foam, which provides sound insulation and cushioning.
